Dale Goode—FLLY GHIRLL
From the artist: Dale Goode will create a massive canvas, 60’ x 100’, and turn it into a three dimensional sculpture. He will construct this art piece repurposed media, found and donated by community members who support his artistic vision. When completed, he will erect the sculpture in an area that was once rancid and blighted in the city of Cleveland. The sculpture will be placed on the corner of 156th and N.Waterloo, an up and climbing art district. The artist believes that the sculpture will be engaging, compelling to those who experience its presence to bring themselves to the experience. The ultimate goal is to artistically and aesthetically enlighten the viewer to a new creative process of renewal and rebirth of an area and idea that was once considered unworthy of a second glance.
